Fashion has a habit of returning to the well-forgotten old in order to make something new out of it. Who knows when FLAT design will go out of fashion, but for now enjoy the simplicity, harmony and information content of the current trend. By the way, flat design was already popular in the 80s, but then it was due to technical features, the inability to display shadows and gradients. And now most leading IT companies have switched to Flat design.
