The entire installation process did not go very quickly. The procedure is long due to the fact that the application provides a huge number of channels, much more than its analogues. Here all the channels are divided into groups by country, which is very convenient. Sometimes it's funny to see what some Japanese TV channels are broadcasting.

The application has many different settings and functions, and we have not yet purchased the paid version.

Immediately after launching the main menu, a flaw was noticed; despite choosing the Russian program interface during installation, it is still in English. The second significant disadvantage is the large weight of the program, which can cause delays between channel switching. Of course, such an application consumes a lot of system resources.

To summarize: the application has a lot of channels, but because of them it creates a load. We recommend using it on high-performance computers.

IPTV Player

After going to the official website, the desire to use the program immediately disappears a little. Fortunately, appearances are deceiving. The program installed very quickly. However, during installation the application offers to install various Yandex products.

Once you have installed the application, all that remains is to set the appropriate UDP channel. The choice is quite wide, most likely you will be able to find a suitable option. The app launched quickly, switched between channels easily, and overall worked well.

Available functions:

• There is access to 32 channels and 4 radios;
• Supports setting the broadcast to pause;
• Can record broadcasts to a file (you can set the path for saving files);
• There is a TV program;
• Allows you to take screenshots.

Among the shortcomings, we can note the low quality of the picture, which cannot be changed - about 480p.

Summary: excellent and fast program with a small selection of TV channels.

Crystal TV

The presence of the Russian language and support for almost all mobile platforms are clear advantages of the program. It can be used to watch TV channels while traveling in public transport, and then come home and continue watching.

This is another small utility, the weight of which on Windows OS does not reach 4 MB. During installation, it may show a warning that the application is not digitally signed. We'll have to come to terms with this. During installation, you need to specify the Russian interface language, the rest can be left as is.

After starting the program, a list of available TV channels appears. Most of them are watchable, but not all. There are also paid channels here that are blocked in the free version. Unfortunately, many of them are quite interesting. Even without pay TV channels there is plenty to watch here. The application itself works quickly and without lags. True, many may notice that the edges of the image are cropped.

It was not possible to notice any special functions for setting up broadcasting. You can choose the quality of the picture; to do this you need to select one of the animals. At the highest quality, indicated as an eagle, everything works without problems. Another basic feature is full-screen mode.

In general, the program copes with its capabilities, and can also show TV shows from the archive. However, for the latter function you will have to pay a subscription. Subscription for a season – from 150 rubles, and for a year – from 350 rubles.

RUSTV Player

Getting acquainted with the application starts well thanks to a good website. You can watch TV channels directly through the web resource. We are more interested in a program that weighs 30 MB. Again, there is no digital signature. As usual, during installation they offer to add various Yandex services; you need to uncheck them.

The speed of operation is a clear advantage of the program. It opens and launches channels very quickly, and the interface is extremely simple. I also liked the good selection of channels, there’s a lot to get excited about. The developers have focused on the ease of use of the application at the expense of functionality. The only additional feature is the radio.

Combo Player

When installing the player, they offer to install not only software from Yandex, but also Avast. The entire installation procedure takes less than one minute, and the program also pleases with the presence of the Russian language. Moreover, even after removing the checkmarks from the items near Yandex, the browser of this developer was still installed. The program is indeed free, but its functionality in this state is limited. Even these functions are enough for the average user.

Overall the program is not bad and the website is decent. Provides access to about 30 Russian-language channels and supports IPTV movies. Pre-installed films are mostly paid, you will have to look for others.

By most characteristics, the application is not bad and quite worthy.

Readon TV Movie Radio Player

The only application from the review that they dared to install not from the official website, since it does not exist. I had to install it at my own risk. The installer is delivered in English and without Yandex browser or similar.

The program either does not have a pre-installed list of channels, movies, or they have not loaded. To use the application normally, you will have to download channels manually.

Ace Stream

A very large program with constant support. To date, version 3.1 has already been released, the weight of which is slightly more than 82 MB. Finally a program that has an electronic signature. Supplied in Russian and English versions. During installation, you are offered a choice of many features. There is no desire to understand the functions; you can just install the standard set, but remove the association with all files.

After installation, a player appears with a slightly outdated but pleasant design. By default, the program refuses to play TV channels, but copes well with torrent videos and streams. We decided to try downloading a football stream. It worked, but many of the links were broken; I managed to find them the third time. After each video launch, various annoying advertisements open in the browser.

TV Player Classic

This is an application with an IPTV player. Downloading the program is not difficult, but the installation file weighs over 80 MB. Again, the developer does not have a digital signature. A funny thing is that during the installation process you can select 2 languages: Russian and English, that’s what it says. After installation, the program again started downloading something from the Internet and installing it.

As soon as we launched the application, it became clear that it was quite heavy on the processor and had flaws. It’s trivial, but when switching between Windows programs, the desktop is not shown. The TV Player Classic window continues to display in full screen.

Disadvantages (inconveniences) of the application:

• You need to search in the application in Latin transliteration. It is very strange. Thus, you can find the film “black mirror” only by searching for “chernoe zerkalo”;
• While watching the video or before it, an advertisement with our favorite “volcano” is shown;
• The movie takes quite a long time to load.

Among the advantages:

• Allows you to watch a movie from torrent sites without downloading it to your computer;
• Supports torrent TV and torrent video;
• Works with radio;
• There is a built-in list of films.

The application has quite a few significant shortcomings, which is why I would not recommend using it. Unless other applications are suitable for some reason.

SopCast

You can download the player from the office. site packed in a ZIP archive. It is lightweight, only 5.7 MB. It is not known why the exe file was additionally placed in the archive, but so be it. Again, there is an unknown publisher here, which is somewhat discouraging to install the program on a computer with valuable data.

Due to a license issue, the firewall starts showing warnings about the file's security. Or maybe the problem is not in the signature, who knows what exactly the program is trying to do that goes beyond standard access.

Disadvantages of the program:

• Even during installation, the first drawback comes across: you can only select English or Chinese;
• The main drawback of the application is that only English-language TV channels are available. The program also does not always work even after granting the necessary privileges in the firewall. It is possible that the application will only work after adding it to the firewall exceptions;
• Unclear channels, no known names in the list;
• There are lags.

Install only as a last resort.

Forget about all the apps you have seen for watching Russian TV channels online, as they all had poor video stream quality and were also quite limited in the number of channels. There are no restrictions in the “” application and the maximum possible number of TV channels is available, while you can choose between low and high quality. I can confidently assure you that out of the entire list of channels, you will not find a single English-speaking one, and their total number is a whopping 130 and all of them are fully functional. Only in Russian and only in high quality.

The application interface is incredibly simple and you won’t need to get used to it or delve into any complex mechanisms. Next to the channel there are two icons - LQ and HQ. LQ allows you to watch the TV channel you have chosen in low quality, which certainly cannot be called terrible (on the Nexus 7 low quality looks very acceptable). HQ stands for high quality video, and that's really true. As the developers themselves say, to watch the video stream you will need an installed third-party player, VLC Media Player or MX Player. In the application itself, the developers provide a link only to VLC, but in MX Player everything can be viewed without problems. I would also like to mention the quality of the Internet connection, which will be required for comfortable viewing of channels: for low quality this parameter corresponds to a value of 1 Mbit/sec, and for high quality – at least 4 Mbit/sec. The parameters are quite modest, but with mobile Internet it will be difficult to watch channels. During testing of the application, some bugs were noticed, for example, when watching high-quality videos, the player automatically closed after 3-4 minutes, which was not observed when viewing channels in low quality. If, when selecting a certain quality, you receive an error message, then try opening this channel in a different quality, since, for example, the 2x2 TV channel is available only in HQ quality, and EUROSPORT - in LQ quality. There were no other problems with the application and I hope there won’t be any.
