What is the tracking number on Aliexpress? (Aliexpress track code). All about the track code When and where to look up the Russian track number

Aliexpress is gaining popularity among Russian buyers. This is not surprising: the site provides guarantees of receiving the goods and their good quality. And prices from Chinese sellers are sometimes an order of magnitude lower than ours for the same product. There is only one inconvenience - long delivery. In this regard, there is a natural desire for the buyer to track the location and progress of the things for which he paid. Postal services provide such a chance.

The ability to track the track code will allow the recipient not to worry that his package will get lost, and if this does happen, he will be able to find it faster or receive compensation for the goods that did not arrive. In this case, you will lose time waiting, but you will get your money back.

How to find out the tracking number of a parcel on Aliexpress?

Just a year or two ago, almost all packages from Aliexpress had a tracking number. This is a more expensive shipping method for the sender, but the Chinese went to additional costs for the peace of mind of buyers and to maintain their rating. Recent changes in the dollar exchange rate have affected logistics services. To keep products affordable for Russian consumers despite the sharp fall in the value of the ruble, sellers are forced to lower prices and ship orders using the cheapest methods, many of which do not include traceability at all.

Will the parcel be tracked?

Honest sellers in the description of their goods talk about the impossibility of checking a parcel from Aliexpress using the track number if they work with carriers that do not provide such a service. Often, after ordering and paying for an item, you can receive a message from the seller that he sent (or is about to) send it without a track number. The store owner will ask the buyer not to worry and wait patiently, or pay another 2-3 dollars for delivery with tracking.

Where can I find the tracking number?

If your shipment is assigned a combination of letters and numbers, you can find it in the order card. This is the page that opens when you click on the “More details” link opposite the name of the product you are interested in in the general list of shipments. This code can consist of numbers only or a combination of numbers and letters. The picture below shows how to find out the tracking number of a parcel on Aliexpress assigned to the parcel.

Honest sellers, having sent the package, immediately indicate this combination in the order card and insert a link to the website of the logistics company delivering it. There you can easily find out about the fate of your purchase. If immediately after sending the search by track number fails, this may mean that information about the parcel has not yet been transferred to the company’s information center. Or the goods were never sent, and the numbers were taken from the head by the dishonest seller. A repeat check in a week or a week and a half will clarify the situation.

The sales platform itself is created in such a way that a store representative cannot change the order status to “Sent” without checking the code. Even if tracking is not implied, and you were honestly warned about this, there will still be some numbers on the product card. They don't mean anything. Also, the seller may write you a deliberately incorrect code if he did not send the package when the allotted time expired and plans to send it later. This is against the rules, but is widely practiced by stores. In this case, after the actual shipment, the seller will write the correct number instead of the invented one.

International shipping labeling standards

The numbers assigned to shipments follow general international formation rules. Thus, parcels (weighing more than 2 kg) are marked with codes, the first 2 letters of which are CA-CZ. Track codes for EMS shipments begin with EA-EZ. If this is a registered custom package, then the first letters of its track number will be RA-RZ. Small mail items (SPO) with a code starting with LA-LZ are not tracked at all.

The parcel is not located. What to do?

If you cannot track your parcel (Aliexpress) using the track number, you should follow this algorithm.

  1. Wait. If after 10 days the number is not determined, proceed to step 2.
  2. Chat with the seller. Write to him about the current situation. Add that the package is important to you or you are expecting it by a certain day, so you are worried. Either the seller will give you a real number, or go to step 3.
  3. Threaten with an argument. If after this message there is no result either, move on.
  4. Open dispute. As a reason to note that it is not possible to track the parcel (Aliexpress) using the track number. Demand full compensation.
  5. If the seller persists, inventing a lot of reasons not to return your money, the dispute will escalate. The administration in most cases resolves such issues in favor of the buyer.

In other words, the development of events depends on a lot of factors. Some sellers issue instant refunds because they know they didn't send you anything and don't see the point in doing otherwise. Others resist until the last minute, urging them to wait a little longer. It's up to you to decide. Some parcels that were not tracked at all arrive safe and sound. The rest do not exist in nature. If time is of the essence, you can wait, but not longer than the maximum delivery time specified by the seller. Otherwise, you will be left without goods and without money.

Helper services

When imagining how to find out the track number of a parcel on Aliexpress, you can track it using various convenient services. These include websites of carrier companies, specialized programs, and even mobile applications. Postal tracking is carried out on them in real time. Aliexpress, due to its popularity, has even given rise to several websites that specialize specifically in parcels from China.

Post office

Russian Post also has its own website where you can track the movement of cargo not only within the country, but also between states. It should be noted that on the website of this company only those international shipments that consist of numbers and letters are “caught”, with the first letters indicating the category corresponding to international rules, and the last ones indicating the country from which the item was sent (most often in our case these will be CN).

Russian Post has mobile applications that work on the same principle as the website. They can be downloaded completely free of charge for both devices on the Android operating system and WinPhone.

The advantage of this service is that if the website or application indicates that the package is at your post office, then it is actually there. In addition, you can see other interesting statuses there. For example, “Failed delivery attempt,” if the postman brought you a package and you were not at home.

Chinese postal sites

Sometimes when purchasing goods on Aliexpress, delivery of which is free and the price is low, the buyer receives from the seller a link to a Chinese website for tracking and a digital code. There are several such resources on the Internet. And what these sites have in common is that all the instructions, menus and other fundamentally important things are written in Chinese. For those who do not speak the language, tracking their goods through such a service is problematic. An automatic translator does not always cope with its task. But such sites can show you that the package exists, if this is indeed the case.

These are the pages of courier services. These companies deliver only within China, and when an order leaves the country, it is assigned an international standard number. Rarely does the seller himself inform the buyer that his parcel has such a code. If this information is important to you, write to the store owner about it. Then there is a greater chance that the international number, when it is assigned to the shipment, will be brought to your attention.

Universal services

These are services for those who do not know exactly which company is delivering the package. Some of them are “tailored” specifically for Aliexpress. Delivery is tracked on several postal sites at once, which makes it more likely to find the package and get an idea of its location.

Now on the Aliexpress website itself, in the “My Orders” section, you can see the shipment status updated every 5-10 days. The disadvantage of such tracking is its irrelevance, since during such a period the package can change its location several times, and the same item will be displayed on the page.

Parcel path

In order to navigate the tracking process, you need to know what path each shipment takes from point A to point B. In our case, this is from China to your city.

  1. "Received at the Liaison Office, China." This means that the parcel lies where the sender brought it and is waiting to be sorted.
  2. "Awaiting shipment from China." The parcel has been sorted and will be on its way soon.
  3. "Arrived on Russian territory." The parcel is already in our country, it was accepted and weighed here.
  4. "Sent to customs." The batch of items has been transferred to the appropriate organization.
  5. "Received for inspection at customs." All shipments go through this stage. If a particular package does not cause suspicion among customs officers, then it is simply scanned and passed on. Otherwise, the parcel may be opened to make sure that it does not contain prohibited attachments.
  6. "Customs clearance has been completed."
  7. "Transferred for delivery throughout Russia."
  8. "Arrived at the sorting center". The name of your city is indicated here.
  9. "Left the sorting center."
  10. "Came to the place of delivery". Now you can come pick up your parcel at your post office.

In conclusion, it is worth saying that you can buy on this site. Having an idea of how to find out the tracking number of a parcel on Aliexpress, track it and what to do if the quality of the product does not correspond to what was declared, you will allow yourself to make a lot of useful purchases at reasonable prices.

In Russian, the seller must inform the buyer of a special parcel identifier (the so-called track number) so that he can track the purchase route from the seller in China to the post office, from where the buyer can pick up the long-awaited parcel.

Track number(tracking number) - a digital or alphanumeric number that is assigned to postal items. At each stage of forwarding, the postal identifier is entered into a single database about the status of postal items. The track code allows you to track the route of the parcel through the Internet sites of postal and courier services and the fact of delivery of the postal item to the addressee.

When purchasing a product on the Aliexpress website, the seller indicates the tracking number (track code) by which the purchase route is tracked. Buyers of an online store often wonder how to find the tracking number on the Aliexpress website. You can see the track number in the order details in your personal account on Aliexpress. In the Logistics Information section, the track number and name of the postal service to which the parcel was sent are indicated.

Where can I find and get a tracking number on Aliexpress?

To find out the tracking number, you need to go to the My Orders section (the My Orders section is in the drop-down menu):

After this, a page with detailed information about the order will open, where you can find and view information about the track number (track number):

Please note that the track number does not appear immediately after placing an order, but after the seller sends the parcel to the address you specified (approximately 3 to 5 days).

The track number consists of letters and numbers (the first will be letters that indicate the type of shipment, and the rest will be numbers, the last will be two letters that indicate the country of departure).
If the track number is not indicated, I advise you to send a letter to the seller asking for the number. There are cases that a parcel is sent without a tracking number if the product is inexpensive.
I recommend reading in detail about how to track a parcel with an order using the tracking number in the article: here you can also track the parcel using the tracking number. (Track numbers of international mail of China are supported, to which 99% of parcels are sent China Post Air Mail, Hong-Kong Post, Singapore Post, Swiss Post, EMS - this is regular mail, as well as track numbers of courier postal companies DHL, UPS, FedEx, TNT, GLS, Aramex, DPD, E-Shipper, FLYT, HHEXP, SFC, XRU)

What to do if the track number from Aliexpress is not tracked?

If the track number that the seller told you is not trackable, first of all I advise you to write a message to the seller and clarify the information, perhaps he mixed up the track, made a mistake, or saved money and sent the parcel without a track number and gave you a template, i.e. an empty track, this is all quite This is normal on Aliexpress. (The seller needs to write in English, if you know the language, use the online translator translate.ru or some other).

List of the main reasons why the track code may not be tracked:
- 2-3 days have not passed since the date of receipt of the tracking number and because of this the parcel may not be tracked
- You or the seller incorrectly copied or rewrote the track code, everything should be without spaces, in capital letters and 9 numbers if the parcel was sent by regular mail (China Post)
- The seller simply gave you the “left track code”, this is also normal and allows you to save on the purchase of goods.
- Perhaps you are trying to track the parcel in the wrong place, we recommend using a universal tracker for any tracking numbers and postal items, form.
- If for some other reason your track code is not tracked, please contact the seller with this question.

What do typical tracking numbers from Aliexpress look like?

The first two letters are the type of item, and the last two letters are the country of departure or sometimes the postal service code (for example YP - Yanwen Logistics)
C***CN package from China (CP235611343CN)

- LM - ePacket (Chinese EMS LM...CN), tracked on the website http://www.ems.com.cn/english.html
EA-EZ range - EMS, Express Mail Service, USPS Express Mail. Parcels with such codes usually arrive faster than other types of mail. Postal service websites must have the ability to track EMS numbers. The EX-EZ subseries can only be used for postal items within one country.
- LK - Also called EUB, the tracking number starts with "LK" and ends with "CN" (LK987654321CN), a division of Hong Kong Post in China, Air.
- RB, RF, SQ - and end with the letters SG, this is Singapore Post, example: (RB123456789SG, RF123456789SG, SQ123456789SG,RR123456789SG)

Range CA-CZ - Parcel post, USPS Priority Mail. Parcel (package, parcel) registered in the tracking system.

Decoding the tracking number - what the letters in the parcel tracking number mean:

According to international rules, each standard international track number must consist of 2 letters at the beginning, 9 numbers and 2 letters at the end (they indicate the country of departure). Individual countries may have special rules regarding numbers.

The first letter in the tracking number usually means and stands for the type of shipment:
“A” - the shipment is not insured (up to 2 kg))
“R” - registered shipment (up to 2 kg)
“V” - registered insured shipment (up to 2 kg)
“C” - simple parcel (more than 2 kg)
“L” - Airmail (up to 2 kg)
“E” - Express Postal Service (EMS over 2 kg)

The second letter in the track means what method, method or transport the parcel will be sent:
A, B - air up to 2 kg
C - air parcel (longer customs clearance)
T - air envelope
R - by road (by train) or by sea (by ship, transport vessel)
P - type of Chinese 1st class

But the last two letters in the track number are the country of departure, for example: RR123456789CN is a registered item that will be delivered by train or sea and sent by mail from China (for example, the last letters in the track: CN - China, SG - Singapore, GB - Great Britain , DE - Germany, US - USA, RU - Russia/RF, etc.)

What do unusual tracking numbers look like on Aliexpress?

There are also non-standard (unusual) track numbers that begin with the letters SN, PK, UA and then usually only 10 without letters. If the first letters are UA at the beginning, then there are 9 digits and at the end two letters YP (YANWEN LOGISTICS), sometimes you also come across tracks called China Post Ordinary Small Packet Plus consisting of only 11 digits (12345678912) - this is the internal mail of China, the postal company YANWEN LOGISTICS (for example SN14092001588, PK14081902532, UA105830254YP), you can only track such track codes on the website http://www.yw56.com.cn/english/DIY.asp or http://www.91track.com/
Such unusual and strange track numbers are tracked only within the territory of China, after departure from the country, such a track is no longer tracked, sometimes it shows if it has arrived in the destination country.

Also now gaining popularity on Aliexpress are tracks like RA00112233FI, this is the Finnish postal company Itella, usually parcels sent by this mail are delivered much faster than other standard postal services, in about 2-3 weeks to anywhere in the world, you can track them on the official website http://www .posti.fi/private/postisservices/tools/itemtracking/index.html or through our universal tracker.

Fake, false, counterfeit Chinese postal services and services for allegedly tracking parcels:

On Aliexpress, when purchasing inexpensive goods up to $10, the seller can give you an untraceable track number, which will only be tracked on the website of a non-existent, i.e. fake postal company, and they can also give you a completely non-working track number or a left track number (sometimes they give someone else’s tracks i.e. other buyers who are normally tracked).
These fake postal services essentially predict the approximate location of the package depending on the country, although sometimes the data is often taken simply from the air. If you suddenly come across such fake mail, then don’t worry, this is a completely normal phenomenon on Aliexpress and parcels sent in this way arrive normally, in fact they are sent by regular China Post without a tracking number to track the parcel.

There is a small list of examples of such track numbers and sites on which you can supposedly track such track numbers ( Seller's Shipping Method):
17 Post Service (17postservice.com) - tracks like xxxxxxxxxxxx (12 digits)
World-Shipping post (ws-shipping.com) - tracks like WS...CN, WSxxxxxxxxxCN
WeDo Logistics (wedoexpress.com) - tracks like WD...CN WDxxxxxxxxxCN
HonkongExpressPost (hongkongexpresspost.com) - tracks like RT...FI, RTxxxxxxxxxFI
CNZExpress (cnzexpress.com) - tracks like Sxxxxxxx
Faspeed (faspeed.com) - tracks like RS...CN,RSxxxxxxxxxCN
Flyt Express (flytexpress.com) - tracks like A0001915041115AA
4PX Worldwide Express (en.4px.com) - tracks like MP00816860XSG (MP...XSG), tracked only in China, although the same company provides courier services and sends parcels through Singapoore Post, Posti Finland and other mail (then everything is tracked normal)

How and where to track a parcel from China from Aliexpress using the track number?

Questions about how and where to track a parcel from China from Aliexpress are discussed in a separate article: tracking parcels from Aliexpress, here you can track it using a universal tracker.

How long does it take to send a package from China with Aliexpress?

The delivery time for a parcel from Aliexpress depends on the method in which it is sent to the buyer; for more details on how long to wait for a parcel from China, read.

How can you quickly receive a parcel from China with Aliexpress?

Delivery time for parcels from Aliexpress can be significantly reduced, read our article for more details.

    It is impossible to track the exact location of the parcel without a tracking number. You can, of course, use services like waitpost, but it’s not a fact that your parcel will be confused with someone else’s, because everything is processed manually, so the information about the parcel may be incorrect. Therefore, to be on the safe side, it is better to order goods from abroad with a tracking number. Although I constantly order without it and do not track anything, and all parcels are delivered.

    I believe that it will be problematic to track your parcel without a track number, since all parcels go through a lot of preliminary shipments, which you can’t keep up with. For example, when I didn’t know my parcel number, I called the post office and asked them to find my parcel by name. The good postal employees made me happy that the parcel arrived. But maybe I was just lucky with the staff.

    I'm afraid that without a track number it will not be possible to track the parcel. After all, all sites for tracking postal items require a track number, which is assigned to the parcel when it is sent. It is this number that must be entered in a special line to search for the parcel. Without knowing the track number, there will be nothing to enter in the search line. Therefore, you just need to wait for trackless parcels and trust that they will arrive)

    I don't think so. All that remains is to wait and check your mailbox for any notifications for the parcel that have appeared. And so the tracking code is given to each parcel when it is sent. Waiting becomes much easier, especially when you are waiting for a parcel from afar or from abroad.

    For the second time I send a registered letter at a local post office, they issue a check with a tracking number, when tracking via the Internet it turns out that in both cases my letters were received by mail more than a year ago and long ago delivered to the addressee, only not to the address that I indicated, but It’s not at all clear where. Although at the top of the identifier there is my address and the correct address of the recipient. In the first case it worked out, it arrived normally, although with such problems. And the last one hangs somewhere, the check was carried by a child, I can’t find it. How now track the letter?

    Indeed, at first glance it may seem that track a parcel without a track number impossible. However, after scouring the Internet, this is what I found. It turns out that there is a website called Waiting for Parcels, where you can track parcels not only those whose track number is known, but also those whose track number is unknown to the recipient of the parcel. Here you can find parcels sent not only from China (today more and more Russians are ordering goods directly from Chinese sellers), but also from

    • Belarus
    • Israel
    • Germany
    • Kazakhstan
    • Belgium
    • Spain
    • Italy
    • Canada
    • Turkey
    • Lithuania
    • Latvia
    • Portugal
    • Thailand
    • Ukraine
    • Finland and other countries.

    In addition, here you can also find out information based on the results of the day, how many parcels left the sender’s country, arrived in the recipient’s country, how many were handed over to customs and released by it,

    how many parcels were delivered and how many were returned to the sender.

    There are two options - use sites like this one, where information is updated, but based on the statistics of the senders or recipients themselves. And the second option is to find out the exact address of the sender, then on the Russian Post website see what the target delivery time for the parcel from this city to your city is. For example, a parcel takes 10 days from Moscow to Perm. After this period has expired, you can safely contact your Russian Post office with your passport and ask whether the long-awaited parcel has arrived.

    Recently, more and more people are making purchases through online stores in China, the USA, Europe and other countries. Tracking parcels that were sent by online stores via postal services is possible using a tracking number. If there is no tracking number, it is probably impossible to track the location of the parcel.

    I think without a number identifier you still can’t do it, so most likely you will need to contact the post office where the shipment was made. And there, using your passport data, you will be informed of that same cherished postal identifier. Next, look at the website.

    A track number is not issued to every parcel, but only to a registered one or with a declared value. Those who decide to save money on this matter are not assigned a postal ID. And without it it is impossible to obtain information, at least at the office. Russian Post website. I don't know any other ways.

    A track number must be assigned to each parcel upon dispatch. It's unclear from your question why it doesn't have a track number. If it is a package sent by a private person, ask the person who sent it to find out the ID from the post office where they sent it. But, most likely, we are talking about the delivery of any order placed through an online store, with free delivery, in the absence of a track number to minimize the seller’s postal costs. In this case, by placing such an order and agreeing to such conditions, you initially assume the risk. Therefore, just be patient and wait, but such a parcel cannot be tracked.

    Tracking the location of a parcel without a track number is an almost impossible task. After all, in order to receive information about your parcel, you need to enter certain data in the cargo search field, in this case the track number.

    The tracking number is very convenient, especially now when people make a huge number of orders via the Internet. Thanks to it, you can find out when the parcel left the point of departure, when it arrives at the destination, where it is currently located, how much its delivery costs, etc. Also, some services provide a notification function via SMS.

The number is not tracked

If any nuances or problems arise in tracking your parcel, you should initially contact the seller. He may not tell you how to get a tracking number on Aliexpress in problematic situations, but he can admit his mistake. What error?

Very often, site employees try to save money on more expensive delivery and send the goods without a tracking number, and the customer is sent a combination that was invented right at the moment of dialing the numbers.

Or it may turn out that only one digit in the tracking number is incorrect, that is, the seller made a mistake by accident. He could also have made a mistake with customers with similar or identical goods.

In any case, you should write to him first. And apply in English, because the resource is foreign, and no one there will understand Russian. If you don’t know English, an online translator can handle it without any problems.

If this does not solve the problem, the reasons may be:

  • A short period of time from the start of the “journey” of the parcel. Remember that you need to wait at least 2 days;
  • Extra spaces in the code. There should be no spaces between letters, numbers, and letters of the code. The letters at the beginning and end should be large and capitalized.
  • Wrong site for tracking. The seller could have made a mistake here too. Send the required track number, but enter a different tracking code into the tracking site. You can check this with the seller and find a resource on the Internet yourself.

Decoding combinations

To clearly understand what each letter and number in the code means in the literal sense of the word, there is the following decoding:

The first capital letter immediately speaks about the product itself and the weight limits:

  • A - this letter means that they decided to save money on insurance of the parcel, and its weight does not exceed 2 kg;
  • R - this order is sent upon request, weight no more than 2 kg;
  • V - here V does not mean Vendetta, but means that the shipment is insured. And the weight did not exceed 2 kg;
  • C - “transmission” of the usual type, the weight of which has the right to exceed the mark of 2 kg;
  • L - used Airmail for sending. The parcel is small, no more than 2 kg;
  • E - resorted to the fast delivery postal service - Express. Weight allowed is more than 2 kg.

The second letter of the number will tell you how to move and deliver the parcel:

  • A, B - by air, package up to 2 kg;
  • C - the same air option, but this parcel is a parcel, its customs clearance takes longer;
  • T is air, and “message” is an envelope;
  • R - the departure will travel by rail on a train or sail on a ship;
  • P - again air, but this letter only designates the class in which the thing will fly - first.

The last two letters indicate the country from which the item was shipped. They are also in capital letters. The designation of China in the track number looks like this - CN.

How to track a parcel if you saved on the track

In the event that the merchant decides to save money and view the tracking number on Aliexpress, it is impossible to just be patient and wait.

Despite the dishonesty in terms of the tracking number, the sellers send the parcel itself in almost all cases.

Based on the approximate time indicated on the website for order delivery, start checking your mailbox towards the end of this term. As soon as the post office receives the parcel, the postman will bring a notification about it.

If you know that post office employees are not famous for their speed of work, you can visit the post office yourself and find out if there is already a parcel in your name.

P.S. Friends, when shopping in online stores, be sure to use. As they say, if you save, you earn it!

With this I want to say goodbye to you, happy shopping everyone!

In this article we will talk about how to find out the tracking number of a parcel on the Aliexpress website. There is nothing complicated about it. But first, let’s define what a track number is and what it is needed for.

Track number (or track code) is a unique identification number of your parcel, necessary to track it during international delivery. It is an alphanumeric code of the form: CP271249340CN

Moreover, each delivery service has its own characteristic combinations of letters and numbers, which can be used to determine the type of parcel, its weight, shipping method, and much more. Read more about the structure and decoding of Aliexpress parcel track numbers in one of the following articles

But the main purpose of the track number remains.

Where can you find the tracking number of your parcel on Aliexpress?

In order to find out the track code of your order and subsequently track it, you need to go to your Aliexpress personal account, in the section "My orders"

IMPORTANT!!! The tracking number of the parcel appears only after it has been sent by the seller. Therefore, you will be able to find out the track code of your order and see where it is only after your package has gone on its long (or not so long) journey.

The shipping time for each Aliexpress seller is individual, on average it is 2-5 days. Also, consider the payment processing time.

In general, you need to wait until the “Order sent” message appears in the “My Orders” section opposite the product you purchased and two buttons “Check tracking” and “Confirm receipt of goods” appear.

In order to find out which delivery service sent our parcel and see its tracking number, we need to click on the button "Check tracking"

This will take you to your order tracking page. Here you can see all the information about your order, open a dispute with the seller and, of course, find out the track number of your parcel, as well as the name of the transport company that delivers it. It looks like this:

IMPORTANT!!! Tracking information for your order will not appear until a couple of days after it has been shipped. Previously, the track number may simply not be tracked by any of the services, even on the website of the transport company itself. So don't panic ahead of time.
