Recently I needed remove background from the picture, I'm not particularly good with Photoshop. And I’ll tell you that I don’t even have it on my computer. (Well, actually, that’s right, why do I need something that I don’t know how to work with).

But the background from the picture had to be somehow removed, so I started surfing the Internet, looking for a solution to my problem. There are actually a lot of options, but I was looking for something easier)). I found a very easy and simple way to remove the background from a picture.

So, let's get started. We'll need Photoshop, but I don't have it. I use online photoshop. It’s a very convenient thing, I’ll tell you. And of course, the picture whose background we want to make transparent.

I’ll show you an example of this picture, we’ll remove the white background

Let's go to online Photoshop. I used this one PIXLR

Select: Upload an image from your computer.

Now in the window on the right "LAYERS" I need to open the lock

Click on it 2 times with left button mouse, a check mark should appear in the box.

Now go to the panel on the left and select the tool "Magic wand" and set tolerance to 21.

That seems to be all, but I’m not completely satisfied with the picture, there are still remnants of the background, I again click on the place that I want to remove. Then “edit” ---- “clear”. And so on until you remove everything you need.

Run the installation file and follow the program instructions. Once the installation is complete, Photo Editor will open automatically.

Load the image into the program

Click on the button Open file, in the window that appears, find the desired photo and click Open. You can also simply drag and drop the image into the program window.

Remove background

On the top panel, select the tab Replacing the background. Click the button Auto selection, – the program will automatically highlight the silhouettes of people in the photo.

To manually select any object, use the green brush and select the object you want to transfer to a transparent background. It is not necessary to pay attention to every millimeter of the image - any flaws can be corrected later. Next, use a red brush to mark the area around the desired object. Click the button Further.

Now you need to refine the edges of the cut out part of the image. To adjust the selection of large areas of the picture, select the appropriate mask brush. To refine the edge of the selected area, brush along it Hair highlighting. When you are satisfied with the result, move on to the next step.

By default, the background of the image will be transparent. If necessary, it can be replaced. To make the background one color, select one of the ready-made options (the program offers black, gray and white backgrounds) or use the palette. To put another photo in the background, click the button Add an image and select the desired picture. Then click the button Apply.

Save the result

Click the button Save. By default, the program offers to save the file as JPEG. This format does not support transparency, so you need to choose another one. Open the tab File type and select BMP, DPX, PNG, TGA or TIFF. Click Save. The program will automatically open the folder with the resulting file.

Now you know how to save a picture with a transparent background using Movavi Photo Editor. But the program has many other editing options, such as removing unwanted objects from photos, restoring old photos, and applying filters to photos. Experiment and every shot will be unforgettable!

As you can see, this checker is not displayed if the image in the search is reflected through the thumbnail. You need to click on the picture and additional information will open.

Look, I copied this drawing and pasted it into a photo of the field. I won’t go into exactly how I did it, it doesn’t matter now. The most important thing is that you see all parts of the field, the cubes seem to have been cut out and superimposed on the picture.

If I hadn’t found a photo with a checker in the search, the illustration would have looked completely different. The background would be white and rectangular.

Why is that? This checkerboard is a generally accepted sign; if you see it, it means there is no color at all in this part of the illustration, and when overlaid, you will see the lower part of the drawing. Find the “Background Eraser” tool. If you can’t find it, then hold the mouse for a few seconds with the left button pressed on the button of a regular eraser. The required tool will open. You can add it by clicking on it.

You can increase the diameter of the eraser to make erasing more convenient.

Now fiddle around with the unnecessary elements in the picture. You will see how the checker begins to appear and the color disappears!
