Step 2: Launch AVS Video Converter and select the source video file

Step 4: Specify the desired path to the output video file

Click the button Review... next to the field Output file and select the hard drive location for the output video file.

Attention: The file must be saved to your computer's hard drive.

Step 5: Create chapters

Click the button Edit on Main toolbar. In the window that opens Edit source file press the center button Chapters.

You can arrange chapters automatically by clicking the button Auto installation of chapters and selecting one of the following options:

  • At the beginning of each fragment- this mode can be useful if you have added several source files to the program. Chapters will be located at the beginning of each video file;
  • By time interval- use this mode if you need to set the time interval at which chapters should be placed throughout the added videos;
  • Same as in the source file- since AVI files are selected as source files, do not use this option.

You can also arrange chapters manually. Position the cursor on the timeline where you want the new chapter to begin and click Add. For greater precision, use the slider Scale.

Manage the created chapters: select one of them and press the desired button on . You can delete an individual chapter, delete all added chapters, or rename them.

Step 6: Create a menu for DVD

Press the center button Menu to start editing the DVD menu.

Choose one from Disc menu styles. To do this, double-click on it or select the item in the context menu Apply menu style. In area Preview switch between Home page and the page with Chapters. To add your own background images, left-click on one of the Workspaces(if available for the selected menu style) at the bottom of the window Edit source file. In chapter Settings window Edit source file can change Disc menu name, add yours Background music or ask Number of chapters per page using the appropriate controls.

Click the button Ok to apply the settings and close this window.
