How does a wifi signal repeater work? Using a wi-fi signal booster for a router. Subtleties of choice depending on the type of room

The development of wireless data transmission technologies makes it possible to ensure the availability of the Internet over a large area without laying unaesthetic cables that take up space. However, this method has a common disadvantage of wireless communication systems: a decrease in the power of the transmitted signal according to the inverse square law.

The situation is aggravated by the presence of natural and/or artificial obstacles in the signal path: trees, tall bushes, houses and even fences.

In the indoor space, the propagation of electromagnetic waves, including those emanating from a WIFI router, is mostly hindered by walls. As a result, a signal that is quite strong near the source may be almost completely absent in a distant room.

Another problem specific to WIFI transmission is the difficulty of connecting to a congested network used simultaneously by several participants.

The most rational way out of the situation is to install a WIFI repeater (repeater, repeater, amplifier). The device operates on the following principle: the signal received from the source, already weakened by transmission over a distance, is amplified and again transmitted into the surrounding space.

The repeater is not intended to improve the original signal: if a low-quality or damaged router is initially used, there is no point in connecting an additional device.

Advantages of WIFI repeaters:

  • devices operate on the original network, without additional settings;
  • The coverage area is significantly expanded;
  • large selection of equipment;
  • wide price range of devices.

The first point is especially important. Since the repeater simply amplifies and transmits the signal, the network parameters (name, type of protection, password) do not change. Thus, devices connected to a home network connect to the repeater as freely as to a router.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT REPEATER

Currently, choosing a WIFI device that suits the individual needs of the consumer and the characteristics of the room is not difficult.

First of all, the user needs to pay attention to the following repeater parameters:

  • range of frequencies used;
  • relay (transmission) speed;
  • power and gain of the device;
  • dimensions and weight;
  • price category;
  • manufacturer.

The vast majority of repeaters on the market can operate in the 2.4 GHz (gigahertz) or 5 GHz band - or both. The coverage area of devices designed for 2.4 GHz is wider, but in terms of the quality and number of communication channels, such devices are significantly inferior to more modern ones that transmit and receive in the 5 GHz range.

The relay speed in household amplifiers corresponds to one of the international protocols: IEEE 802.11b (2.4 GHz, up to 11 Mbit/s), 11g (2.4 GHz, up to 54 Mbit/s) or 11n (2.4/5 GHz , up to 600 Mbit/s). Of course, whenever possible, preference should be given to modern repeaters with the highest rated transmission rates.

The power of the device is measured in milliwatts (mW, mW). This unit is related to signal gain, measured in decibels per milliwatt (dBm), a non-linear relationship.

A user not directly involved in radio engineering will only need to remember a few correspondences: a value of 20 dBm is equivalent to 100 mW, 23 dBm is 200 mW, and 24 dBm is 250 mW. According to the sanitary standards in force in Russia, the use of repeaters with a power of more than 20 dBm and routers with a similar indicator of more than 24 dBm is prohibited.

The power of household routers produced by foreign manufacturers also depends on local legislation and can exceed 27 dBm (500 mW). It is impossible to increase the specified characteristics of your device by legal means; In addition, it can be harmful to health.

The dimensions and weight of modern devices are significantly smaller than those of older models. This allows them to be installed in any location convenient for the end user. If necessary, the device can be placed on a shelf, suspended on a special holder, or even placed on the floor.

Preference should not be given to repeaters with large antennas or an increased number of them. As practice shows, these design features are a marketing ploy. In terms of the quality of WIFI distribution, such amplifiers are not superior to more modest-looking devices with similar characteristics.

In many repeaters of Chinese origin, the length of the effective component of the antenna - the metal pin - does not exceed 1/3 of the length of the plastic shell.

The purchased amplifier must fit harmoniously into the environment, home or office, both in color and shape. However, if there is a choice between functionality and appearance of the repeater, it would be wiser to give preference to a device with optimal technical characteristics. You can decorate it later or find the perfect location for it.

There are many repeaters of all price categories on the Russian market - from the cheapest, which provide amplification within a room, to more expensive ones, capable of distributing WIFI within a summer cottage and even a small enterprise. The choice based on this criterion depends solely on the financial capabilities of the user.

  • TP-Link;
  • D-Link;
  • ASUS;
  • XiaoMi and others.

When purchasing products from unknown manufacturers, it is impossible to guarantee the signal quality and durability of the device.

When purchasing a repeater, it is also important to consider the geometry and size of the area that needs to be covered. If we are talking about an ordinary apartment with several walls or a small private house, you can choose the cheapest device with a minimal configuration.

In an office with a large number of partitions that interfere with signal propagation, it is recommended to install dual-band repeaters in the quantity necessary to maintain an acceptable level of communication.

In a cottage, and even more so in an enterprise, it is best to connect high-power, high-speed and durable systems like Netgear Orbi. They include a router and a repeater. Typically, one pair of paired devices is sufficient to provide communication over a large area.

It is only possible to determine exactly how many amplifiers are needed in a particular case empirically. The characteristics declared by the manufacturer usually do not fully correspond to the real ones; in addition, they are designed for absolutely flat spaces. In reality, electromagnetic waves encounter many large and small obstacles, from furniture to trees, and are extinguished much faster.

HOW TO CONNECT AND CONFIGURE A WIFI REPEATER

A universal tip for connecting a repeater is to install it in a stable reception area. You can check the presence and quality of the signal using the WiFi Analyzer smartphone program or a similar application. After connecting, setting up and starting the device, it is recommended to measure the indicators again to ensure that the WIFI coverage area has expanded.

For horizontal propagation (within a floor) of the signal, the repeater antennas must be raised up, for vertical propagation (on the floor above and below) - located parallel to the floor. This is determined by the radiation pattern of the whip emitters, which is a plane perpendicular to the antenna.

The complete set of repeaters varies depending on the manufacturer and model, usually the set includes:

  • the repeater itself;
  • patch cord;
  • power supply (optional - with adapter);
  • instructions for installation, configuration and operation;
  • optical disk with software.

Usually the user is faced with two questions: how to connect and how to configure the repeater. In most cases, the device is connected directly to the network, sometimes through the included adapters.

The setup is greatly simplified if the router and repeater have the WPS function. In this case, it is enough to simply turn on the device to the network, press the buttons with the corresponding inscription on both devices and wait for synchronization; you don't need to do anything else.

In the absence of the mentioned function, the task becomes somewhat more complicated. You need to connect the repeater to your PC (using a wire or wirelessly). Next, enter the address of the device specified in the operating manual in the address bar of the browser; at the request of the device, enter the owner’s name and password.

After this, you should indicate your region of residence, the name of the WIFI network and the password. After rebooting, the repeater should work normally.

If problems arise with the connection and operation of the repeater, please refer to the corresponding paragraph of the instructions supplied with it. The way out of the situation is determined for each device based on specific circumstances and there is no universal solution.

REVIEW OF POPULAR MODELS

In the post-Soviet space, the most popular products are from TP-LINK, D-Link and ASUS, and repeater models from the Chinese giant XiaoMi are also gaining popularity.

Repeater Xiaomi called Mi WiFi Amplifier, it is compact and easy to connect: just insert the device into the USB port of the router. This action will start the automatic setup and pairing process. After pairing is complete, you can connect the amplifier to the USB connector of the device located in the area of the weakened signal.

The dimensions of this WiFi repeater are approximately 120x30x12 mm, the operating protocol is 11n, the operating frequency range is 2.4 GHz.

Model TP-Link TL-WA854RE supports the protocol mentioned above and is capable of operating in both bands: 2.24 GHz and 5 GHz. A distinctive feature of these repeaters is their stylish design that fits into any modern interior. The main disadvantage is the inability to connect devices via LAN due to the lack of ports.

ASUS RP-AC68U- one of the best models to date with dual-band operation, four built-in antennas and the ability to create your own cloud for data storage. Up to 5 external devices can be connected to the device via LAN.

D-Link DAP-1320 It is distinguished by its low weight (only 69 g), small dimensions and ease of pairing provided by the WPS option.

One of the budget models - TP-LINK TL-WA854RE, providing relay speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s (11n protocol). The advantages of the device are compactness and low weight. Among the disadvantages noted by customers are loss of network and the need for frequent reboots.

Today we will install and configure an interesting and useful device called a repeater. It is also called a repeater, or repeater of a Wi-Fi network; it is all one device, the task of which is to expand the range of an existing Wi-Fi network. Let's look at the setup process using the excellent TP-LINK TL-WA850RE repeater model as an example.

You can read more about repeaters in the article:. If you have a router installed and the Wi-Fi signal “does not reach” some distant rooms, or, for example, the second floor, then a device such as the TP-LINK TL-WA850RE can easily solve this problem. You can, of course, try to strengthen the Wi-Fi signal by correctly setting up the router, and in other ways that I wrote about in the article. Or, replace the antennas on your Wi-Fi router with more powerful ones. But you won’t get the same effect of expanding your Wi-Fi network as you would from installing a repeater. This is the best option to increase wireless network coverage. The repeater is not very expensive, but its effect is good.

A few words about how it all works. We have a router installed that distributes the Internet via Wi-Fi. But in some room there is no Wi-Fi, or the signal is very poor. We take a repeater, in our case TP-LINK TL-WA850RE, and turn it on in the place where the signal from the router is still stable (preferably 50-60%). We set up the connection, and there will be one Wi-Fi network (with the same name and password as on the main router), but amplified by a repeater. All devices will automatically switch from the router to the repeater, and vice versa. Depending on the signal level. You can configure the repeater to broadcast another network, with a different name and password.

Setting up the TP-LINK TL-WA850RE repeater

The main thing is to choose the right place to locate our repeater. You should try to install the device in a place where there will be the highest possible signal from the router (for minimal speed loss), and where the repeater will cover the rooms we need with the Wi-Fi signal.

You can set up the TL-WA850RE repeater in one minute. We plug it into the outlet. On the router, look for and press the WPS button. It looks something like this:

The indicators that appear on the right side will show the signal strength from the router. In my photo above, you can see three divisions. This is a good signal. For stable operation and minimal loss in speed, it is necessary to have at least two divisions. Three is better.

That's all, the repeater amplifies the Wi-Fi network signal. You won’t even notice any changes, except for a stronger Wi-Fi signal, which will appear in places where you had no reception at all before.

You can turn off the TP-LINK TL-WA850RE, and plug it into an outlet in another room. It will immediately connect to the wireless network, no re-configuration is needed. Moreover, it remembers the networks you connected to.

At the bottom of this repeater there is one LAN port for connecting devices to the Internet via a network cable. It can be used to connect desktop computers, TVs, and other devices that do not have the ability to connect via Wi-Fi or require a stable connection.

As you can see, everything is very simple and clear. Turned it on, pressed the button, and everything works.

Control panel TP-LINK TL-WA850RE. Setting up a repeater without a WPS button

This small device has its own control panel. There you can configure a connection to a Wi-Fi network if your router does not have a WPS button. Now we will look at how to enter the settings of the TP-LINK TL-WA850RE repeater.

To access the control panel of the TL-WA850RE, you must first connect to it. You can use a network cable or Wi-Fi. Immediately after turning on the repeater, it will broadcast the Wi-Fi network without a password, with the factory name. If your repeater is already configured, then you can also go to its settings when connected via Wi-Fi.

Just go to the address in your browser tplinkrepeater.net. The address for entering settings, the factory username and password are indicated on the device itself:

The main page will display the current status of the repeater. If the connection is already configured, you will see this information.

Setting up a TP-LINK Wi-Fi repeater via the control panel (without the WPS button)

There are routers on which no WPS button. In such cases, the repeater can be configured manually, preferably through the Quick Setup Wizard. In Control Panel, go to the "Quick Setup" tab, and click the "Next" button.

In the next window, select your region and click “Next”.

The repeater will search for wireless networks that you can connect to. Select your network and click "Next".

Enter the password for the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to. You can also select the name of the Wi-Fi network. You can clone it from your router, or enter your name. Click on the “Next” button.

We look at the specified settings and click on the “Finish” button. The repeater will reboot. Then, it should connect to the network that we have configured.

Resetting the TP-LINK TL-WA850RE repeater settings

If you want to reset the repeater settings to factory settings, there are two ways to do this. Via the control panel, or a button on the device itself. Turn on the repeater, take something sharp, and hold down the RESET button (bottom) for a couple of seconds. All indicators will light up, the repeater will reboot, and the settings will be reset to factory settings.

Or, go to the web interface, go to the “System Tools” – “Factory Resets” tab, and click on the “Restore” button.

After reboot, the settings will be reset.

If the Internet does not work after setting up the TP-LINK repeater

Judging by the reviews, problems sometimes arise during the setup process. Either the repeater cannot connect to the router’s Wi-Fi network, or there is a connection, but the Internet does not work. Some tips for solving problems:

  • Install the repeater closer to the router. Most often, problems with a Wi-Fi network amplifier appear due to a weak signal or interference.
  • If the repeater cannot connect to the router, or the Internet does not work, then restore the factory settings on the TL-WA850RE (I wrote above how to do this), then reboot the router, and try connecting them again.
  • If you have problems setting up via the WPS button, you can try establishing a connection to the desired Wi-Fi network through the control panel. I wrote above how to do this.
  • You can also try updating the firmware of your repeater.
  • And yet, in the router settings you can change the Wi-Fi network channel. I wrote how to do this in the article: .

These are the tips. If you can’t configure the TP-LINK TL-WA850RE, and you’ve already tried everything, then ask a question in the comments. I try to help. Best wishes!

Using a repeater or other Wi-Fi signal amplifier for the router, you can significantly stabilize the signal and increase the network coverage area.

It is advisable to place the router in the center of the room. The distance from all Internet consumers to the router should be the same, or the smallest to the main user. If necessary, the wire can be extended and the device can be moved to the desired location.

The quality and stability of the network is influenced by a number of different factors:

  • overheating of the hardware or outdated firmware;
  • interference from other devices;
  • poor location of the router indoors;
  • obstacles on the Wi-Fi signal line in the form of walls, furniture, mirrors;
  • availability of wireless networks among neighbors;
  • connection to the network of third-party users;
  • power of standard antennas.

It is advisable to install the router higher (on a cabinet) and not block it with anything. If it is important to distribute the network horizontally, at one level, it is recommended to point the antennas upward.

If you need to cover several floors with a Wi-Fi network, the antennas need to be placed in different directions or horizontally, you should turn to a Wi-Fi signal booster for your router. In addition, the operation of the device may be interfered with by neighboring devices operating at the same frequency. It is recommended to place household appliances further from the router.

These problems can be quickly resolved by moving the router to another location and protecting it from neighboring interference.

Using a Repeater

A wi-fi router additionally increases the network coverage by the coverage radius of its antennas. This small and inexpensive device operates from a wall outlet.

In stores you can see wi-fi signal amplifiers for routers that work only as repeaters, and devices that use a wireless distributed system (WDS). This technique allows you to increase the network coverage area by connecting access points into a seamless system without a cable connection between them.

Repeater to strengthen the router signal

WDS makes it possible to create a network both between different wireless devices and between Wi-Fi access points. An example of such a device is the TL-WA850RE universal amplifier.

The device allows you to relay the network to remote and inaccessible places where it is impossible to extend the cable. Small and lightweight Wi-Fi signal amplifiers for routers are easy to move around your home or office. Expanding the coverage area is achieved by pressing the “Range Extender” button.

Availability of Ethernet port allows the router to act as an adapter for connecting various wired devices. Using the indicators, you can set the amplifier in the best way. It is recommended to place the router in an area where at least three indicators glow blue.

However, installing a Wi-Fi signal amplifier for a router is not always necessary. It is usually used in extreme cases when other methods have not helped. Therefore, let's look at how to improve the quality of reception without installing a router.

Other hardware

Antenna. The most popular method is to upgrade the antennas. Such a replacement will be effective when, instead of an antenna with a power factor of 2 or 3, a similar one is installed, but at 8-10 dBi. Replacing 5 dBi with 8 dBi will not give a noticeable result.

Drink containers, metallized foil, and cans are used as a wi-fi signal amplifier for the router.

To improve the quality of the network, it is worth trying to change its direction by installing a screen on the stock antenna that reflects and sends the signal to the desired location.

We make an amplifier with our own hands from an ordinary beer can:

A router with a built-in or non-removable antenna will help improve the device with a stand and extension cable. Such a device can be moved around the room in search of a place with the highest quality signal, without moving the router itself.

Adapter. You can also improve network quality on the client device by connecting an adapter. This method is suitable for PCs to which the adapter is connected via a USB port or PCI slot.

If you have an extra router, you can always use it to operate as a Wi-Fi signal amplifier. Setting up a device as a repeater usually does not cause difficulties. inSSIDer program

Power. The network may be unstable due to low transmitter power on the router. Many models allow you to adjust the signal strength in the network settings by setting the maximum value. If signal strength adjustment is not available on some devices, DD-WRT firmware will help.

Today the most technologically advanced standard is 802.11n. Therefore, it is worth switching the Wi-Fi router to this operating mode. To do this, you need to set the required value in the wireless network settings and save the changes. More expensive router models that work with the 802.11n standard can operate at a wavelength of 5 GHz.

The 5 GHz band is still completely free and not clogged with interference from other devices or household appliances. When moving into this range, the router will be able to cover the maximum area with the network.

For owners of PCs running Win7 and Win8, there is a suitable way to improve signal reception directly on the computer. If, in order to save battery power, your PC is set to economy mode, you need to change it to high performance mode.

There are many things that can worsen the signal quality. There is no point in trying to fight everyone at once. It is enough to select a few main problems and solve them.

With the advent of WiFi wireless Internet, the need arose for devices that expand the WiFi signal coverage area. Wireless Internet is necessary for the operation of various mobile devices (laptops, netbooks, smartphones, tablets, printers, etc.) in and on the local network.

According to its idea, WiFi, used to create a home network, should be distributed throughout the entire house and even a garden plot, not limited to just one small room. Also, a wireless WiFi network is used to create so-called “hot spots”. This is the space within which you can get free Internet access, for example, large shopping centers, street cafes, airports, libraries, etc.

As you know, Internet speed deteriorates with increasing distance from the signal source. To solve this problem, use a special device - a WiFi repeater. In another way it is called a repeater, or repeater.

A WiFi repeater performs the following function: it repeats the signal that comes from the router and increases the WiFi range to 15-20 meters. We can say that a repeater is a network amplifier.

A WiFi repeater is a device that resembles a charger. Connect it to an electrical outlet in the room where you need to strengthen the signal.

When connecting a WiFi repeater, you must do the following:

  • Connect the WiFi repeater to a power outlet and computer using a patch cord.
  • On your computer, make the following settings: go to the “Control Panel” menu, then select “Network and Internet”, then “Network and Sharing Center” then “Change adapter settings”.
  • Next, you need to select “Local Area Connection” and, by right-clicking, you need to enter “Properties”.
  • In “Properties” you need to pay attention to the following item: “Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4) - Properties”. If you already have a local network created through the router and everything is configured automatically, you should temporarily change the settings and enter: “Repeater setup”.
  • After saving the new settings, you need to go to the browser at the address: 192.168.10.1. This address is set as the gateway and will also be the IP address of the WiFi repeater. Then you need to enter the default data: admin - admin and activate the repeater mode (Wireless Repeater Mode (Station)).
  • At the next stage, they find a router and connect to it.
  • In the case where the WiFi network is password protected, you will need to configure the encryption type to be the same as in the router.
  • Next, enter your username and password to access the Internet.

After setup, you can disconnect the cable that connected the repeater to the computer. The WiFi repeater is ready for use. Those settings that were changed during the connection process can be returned to their original state.

Using a WiFi repeater, you can be sure that even in the farthest corner of the room the signal will now be good and stable.

But, unfortunately, there are some minor disadvantages to installing a WiFi extender. These devices are not very practical for home use. Typically, a WiFi repeater is installed exactly halfway between the computer and the router and must be plugged into an electrical outlet, which is not always convenient.

Today, the use of Wi-Fi for data transfer is widespread. But one of the disadvantages of this method of accessing the Internet is its very limited range. This deficiency can be corrected, but for this it is necessary to use special means. They can be either hardware or software.

Software Gain

There are a large number of ways to increase the strength of the Wi-Fi broadcast by your router. Strengthening the signal of a Wi-Fi router in the router settings is quite simple; it can be done in just a few seconds.

The main ways to improve signal quality:

All these methods make it possible to strengthen the router’s Wi-Fi signal without an antenna or other hardware.

Using an outdated security protocol makes the network not only weakly secure, but also very slow. In the router settings section, logging in as an administrator, select as default WPA2.

Limiting the number of supported devices significantly increases the speed of wireless communication. MAC addresses themselves act as identifiers.

The network name should not be left publicly available. Often, the quality and speed of data transfer drop precisely because of various kinds of unauthorized users trying to make a connection. To hide, just uncheck the box in the settings menu next to the “allow SSID transmission” item.

Low transmitter power

One of the main reasons for poor communication quality and small coverage area is low transmitter power. This is especially true for devices with a built-in antenna. It is quite difficult to correct this deficiency without using various kinds of improvised means. But, nevertheless, it is real.

Many products from renowned manufacturers make it possible to change the data transfer speed with your own hands.

For example, to do this in TP-Link

After applying the settings, the transmitter power should increase. If, of course, before starting the settings, the value in question was lower.

802.11N standard

Another method that allows you to significantly increase the speed of delivery of processed information, as well as the quality of communication, is the 802.11 N standard. It was put into operation quite a long time ago - in 2009, on September 11.

The data transfer speed using this standard is as much as 300 Mbit/s. Switching to it is quite simple; this can be done through the WEB interface. To open the settings window itself, you need to enter 192.168.1.1 in the browser address bar. This is the device's default IP address.

Also, some devices allow you to switch directly in the operating system. To do this, you need to open the device properties in the Windows Control Panel.

Setting up a reboot

A reboot can also improve the quality of Wi-Fi communications. Executing it using the WEB interface allows you to clear the router’s memory from software errors. They are sometimes the main cause of various types of problems that reduce data transfer speeds.

To carry out this operation, just log into the WEB interface as an administrator.

You can do this as follows:

  • enter 192.168.1.1 in the address bar;
  • enter the administrator login and password in the appropriate fields;
  • open the section "Quick setup" and press the button.

Frequency Match

The standard operating frequency is usually 2.4 GHz. It runs a large number of different devices. You can change the channel using specialized programs. For example, Network Stumble r.

You can also change the channel through the WEB interface.

To do this you need:

New firmware and drivers

Another way that makes it possible to enhance the work is to install new drivers on the computer and then flash it. Replacing the firmware often helps. Often, many router models equipped with old software have rather low bandwidth. Reflashing allows you to correct the situation.

How can I restart my computer using the keyboard? There is a solution.

For example, many routers do not initially support the 802.11 N standard, but after a software update they work successfully with it. Since the hardware was initially designed with the prospect of possible work with this standard. And installing updates allowed it to work at high speed.

How to boost your Wi-Fi signal using a second router

You can significantly expand the coverage area of your wireless network with your own hands using a second router. This scheme can be implemented in various ways. But first of all, you need to connect the two devices.

To implement such a scheme, it is advisable to use two identical models. TP-Link TL-WA901N is perfect for this. First of all, you should connect to the Internet and configure one of the routers. After this, it is necessary to adjust the second device; it will operate in “repeater” mode.

The most difficult and time-consuming debugging is the repeater.

It is performed in several stages:

You must set a static IP address: 192.168.1.100. The subnet mask will also be constant: 255.255.255.0.

After successfully completing all of the above steps, you must:

The last step is to select an encryption algorithm. Once the required option has been selected, you need to reboot again.

Strong signal by hardware

You can achieve a high-quality connection with Wi-Fi equipment in various ways.

Most commonly used:

Many manufacturers produce compact amplifiers that are little larger than a pair of matchboxes. They are plugged into an outlet and enhance Wi-Fi within the coverage area of which they are located.

Many models are equipped at the factory with additional ports for connecting a second antenna. It significantly increases the coverage area of the device, making it possible to propagate the signal over impressive distances.

Choosing the right place

One of the most important factors that directly affects the quality of communication is the location of the broadcast device. The optimal situation is when the router is located in the center of all devices using the connection.

It is very important to avoid placing any bulky furniture or mirrors near the router. All this absorbs and reflects waves. Therefore, the router should be positioned in such a way that there are no very hard objects in the path of the network in question.

Equipment influence

Also, in addition to various physical obstacles, all kinds of equipment can also have a negative impact on the reliability of Wi-Fi communications.

Devices of this kind include:

Usually the whole point is that the router and other equipment can operate at a frequency that matches the frequency of other similar products.

Making an antenna

If necessary, you can make an antenna amplifier to improve the quality of communication transmitted over the air.

To construct an antenna of this kind we will need:

  • food foil;
  • plastic bottle or jar.

The foil is simply wrapped around the bottle or jar. After which it is left in this position for 5-10 minutes. After this time, you should place the resulting product behind the back of the router. The foil will focus the reflector and direct it in the desired direction. This allows you to avoid the occurrence of “dead” zones.

Even if the data transmission device does not have a very strong output signal, there is nothing to worry about. Because you can correct the situation with your own hands. You don't even need any tools to do this. Just a roll of food foil is enough time
